    Preserve life, protect property, and maintain order through a partnership between the department and the citizens of Scotland Neck.

The patrol division is the backbone of the police department. It is comprised of eight officers which provide 24/7 coverage to our citizens. Shifts are commanded by Patrol Sergeants. The Patrol Division responds to calls for service, enforces traffic regulations and provides basic police services for the Town of Scotland Neck. All of our officers are highly trained and ready to assist you.

The Administrative Division

The administrative Division oversees the day to day operations of the department, manage the budget and otherwise make sure that the department has everything it needs to provide the citizens of Scotland Neck with first class police services. The Administrative Division consists of Chief John C. Tippett and Captain Tommy Parker.
